I am a Elementary School Custodial Engineer!! (glorified janitor with a boilers license)
Used to be a Harley-Davidson technician though.....

It is what it is. I am trudging along. Just need to get over the thought that I can come up with all the answers and get into to talk with someone. My battle with Crohn's is just one facet of the cascade. I will get through it. If not for anything else, my 2 year old daughter makes everything worth while. Well, just typing that out catalyzed me. I will call the recommended therapist once they open. As for the Custodial Engineer vs the janitor w/ a boiler's license; I would chose janitor w/ a boiler's license. The first time I heard custodial engineer, as a child, I kind of felt that it was condescending. Not sure why, it was a visceral reaction that I can not explain.

Meh, I use gloves all the time at work. I'm not feeling the "SCIEEEENCE!!!" thing.

Puke on the classroom floor-- that's a big part of the whole elementary school experience.
The best part was within the first couple of days on the job, my co worker looked at me and said "Within a couple of weeks, you'll look at it and say 'Oh, they must have had (insert food) for lunch'".
Damned if that isn't true.
